About the position

The Project Coordinator will oversee the grant-funded Health Services and Services Administration Advanced Nursing Education - Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (ANE-SANE) Program. This role involves coordinating project activities, assisting with grant compliance, and promoting laws and policies aimed at reducing sexual violence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Program Co-Directors with facilitation of grant through various stages.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively to assist with project completion.
  • Assist with monitoring the timeline of the project.
  • Assist in recruiting efforts for RNs and program partnerships.
  • Understand, promote and support laws, policies and procedures that aim to reduce sexual violence.
  • Responsible for daily office operations of the grant program.
  • Prepare and assist with grant funded outreach projects with little supervision.
  • Collect and analyze financial data to support budget forecasts and projections.
  • Order supplies and monitor resources.
  • Assist with monitoring the usage and distribution of grant funded projects and outreach items.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining social media and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members of grant in multiple communities.
  • Provide assistance with documentation of grant activities and reports as stipulated by granting agency in order to generate reports, correspondence, and documentation for grant compliance.
  • Prepare and disseminate required reports and presentations.
  • Work cooperatively with representatives from HRSA, the granting agency.
  • Assist with program record-keeping, monitoring of grant work plan completion to include project goals and objectives, and collection of program data for reporting purposes.

Requirements

  • Associates degree and a minimum of one year experience in an office environment required.
  • Experience in the field of sexual violence prevention, education or response on a professional or volunteer basis is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in nursing, counseling, psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Consideration of a broad range of relevant specialties, such as community health, higher education/student affairs, health promotion, social work, criminal justice, and/or public health.

Nice-to-haves

  • Program management preferred, but not required.
  • Advocacy experience with victims experiencing crisis or trauma preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including strong communication skills.
  • Adapt at seeking out and building partnerships.
