About the position

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in Tualatin, Oregon. This position is a hybrid role that involves providing essential project support by processing meter exchange work orders and addressing any related exceptions in the customer billing system. The primary goal is to ensure accurate and proper billing for our clients. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for following up on all necessary actions to guarantee the accurate installation of metering in the system. This is a full-time position that requires a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this role, the Project Coordinator will review data to identify potential issues and process work orders to set up metering data on accounts after a meter exchange has been performed. The individual will respond to customer inquiries, requests, and calls, providing information regarding outages, connections, or work orders. It is crucial for the Project Coordinator to escalate situations as required and coordinate, enter, monitor, and close work orders related to their areas of specialization. Collaboration with other departments is essential to ensure that work orders are processed efficiently. The Project Coordinator will also be responsible for following established processes and procedures to ensure accurate data entry. They will provide recommendations for process changes and ensure that documentation and job aids are completed. Additionally, the role involves processing all related follow-up to ensure accurate installation of metering in the system for proper billing, which includes managing device configurations and multiplier ratios. A solid understanding of the fundamentals of electricity and the electrical system, as well as customer service transactions and procedures, is necessary for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Review data, identify potential issues, and process work orders to properly set up metering data on accounts after a meter exchange has been performed.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and calls, providing information regarding outages, connections, or work orders.
  • Escalate situations as required.
  • Coordinate, enter, monitor, and close work orders related to areas of specialization.
  • Work with other departments to ensure work orders are processed.
  • Follow processes and procedures to ensure accurate data entry.

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • 5 years' experience in customer service, billing, metering in a utility setting (Experience in lieu of degree)
  • Utility Customer Service Billing Procedures knowledge
  • Ability to be very detail oriented and accurate - have personal systems for double and triple checking for accuracy
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • Fundamentals of electricity and the electrical system
  • Customer and Work Management Systems knowledge
  • Working understanding of regulations and tariffs
  • Driven, detail-oriented, analytical, and highly customer-focused
