About the position

The Project Coordinator position at Midwest Manufacturing is a vital role that focuses on organizing and maintaining client projects to ensure that all scheduling and details are meticulously managed. This position is essential for keeping operations running smoothly and requires a high level of excellence, particularly under pressure. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and possess strong problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities. The Project Coordinator will work closely with various teams and outside job coordinators to ensure that all aspects of the projects are aligned and executed effectively. In this role, the Project Coordinator will coordinate layout and design preparations, ensuring that all plans are communicated clearly with outside job coordinators. They will be responsible for maintaining an organized schedule and ensuring that all project details are well documented. Effective communication with the team is crucial, as the Project Coordinator will need to keep everyone informed of any changes to the project plan. Additionally, they will organize reporting, plan meetings, and provide regular updates to the General Manager, ensuring that all stakeholders are kept in the loop. The Project Coordinator will also be tasked with monitoring project progress, analyzing risks and opportunities, and addressing any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. Acting as the primary point of contact, they will communicate project status to all participants and ensure that clients' needs are met as projects evolve. This role may also involve assigning tasks to internal teams and assisting with schedule management, as well as performing additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate layout, design preparations, and plans with outside job coordinators
  • Ensure schedule and details of a given project are well organized
  • Communicate with Team to keep everyone on board with changes to the project plan
  • Organize reporting, plan meetings, and provide updates to General Manager
  • Communicate with outside job coordinators to ensure projects, times, budgets are being met
  • Assign tasks to internal Teams and assist with schedule management
  • Ensure clients' needs are met as projects evolve
  • Analyze risks and opportunities
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Act as point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Additional duties as assigned by the General Manager

Requirements

  • Degree in business-related field, such as Business Management, Project Management, Business Administration OR Minimum of three years on the job experience
  • Able to tactfully deal with guests and team members
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
