About the position

The Project Coordinator at CFS Interiors & Flooring is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the successful and profitable completion of flooring installation projects. This role involves managing project plans, ensuring compliance with contracts, and maintaining accurate job documentation. The Project Coordinator will work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver tailored interior design and flooring solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop a plan for the successful completion of each project
• Ensure job file has signed back-up from customer (contract, PO, signed proposal); administer contracts
• Complete data entry as required; maintaining completeness and accuracy
• Establish and maintain job folders with all appropriate paperwork
• Process material submittals
• Order and track receipt of materials
• Schedule labor and material delivery; process paperwork as required
• Process change orders; track as required and keep billing current
• Verify proper job costing; continuously audit jobs
• Research and process claims; work with manufacturer in resolving defects
• Identify and protect CFS against potential risks
• Actively participate in weekly job review and other meetings as requested
• Close out projects and follow up on invoicing as needed
• Provide assistance with special projects and/or additional duties as required by Management

Requirements

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to identify and manage details; good time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic understanding of legal terms for contract review
• Ability to read and understand specifications and plans
• Ability to lead and work with a team
• Basic flooring estimation and product knowledge
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks to meet deadlines
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures
• Continued development of skills and capabilities for the position
• Ability to develop client and vendor relationships
