About the position

The Project Coordinator role at Robert Half is a long-term contract position focused on providing administrative and technical support within the IT department of the healthcare and social assistance industry. This position is crucial for enhancing the IT department's contribution to organizational goals and involves collaboration with various stakeholders, project management, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate extensively with all stakeholders, including department management, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage and process contracts, maintaining a database of all current department subscriptions and contracts.
  • Coordinate weekly department meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, and maintenance of meeting minutes.
  • Oversee logistics and event planning for department retreats and social events, both onsite and offsite.
  • Assist team members in preparing and editing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the director's calendar and email, including scheduling.
  • Provide support to the IT Help Desk as necessary.
  • Manage projects and timelines to keep the team updated.
  • Identify opportunities for improving departmental processes for IT employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator in the healthcare or social assistance sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of 'About Time' software preferred.
  • Understanding of budget processes within the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in construction and understanding of contracts is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a team and coordinate project tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative when required.
  • Must adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality.
  • Legally eligible to work in the specified location.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of 'About Time' software preferred.
