About the position

The Software Asset Management Specialist will play a crucial role in managing software tools for the client's user community. This position focuses on the financial processing of software purchases and renewals, ensuring efficient and timely transactions while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end renewal process for assigned software titles.
• Collaborate with resellers, vendors, sourcing teams, and internal product owners to obtain and review quotes for purchases and renewals.
• Ensure quotes are complete and accurate.
• Process quotes using Microsoft SharePoint.
• Maintain and update software records in the ServiceNow software contracts database.
• Monitor procurement requests and purchase order generation to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure accurate financial treatment of all requests.
• Address questions and requests from the user community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Five years of relevant experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with industry-standard financial management applications; SAP experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong relationship management and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of cross-organizational work to drive innovation and business results.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
• Experience with IT procurements, contracts, and related processes.
