About the position

The Project Coordinator role at AllSTEM Connections involves overseeing and directing all aspects of project management for a prestigious client. This position requires effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, managing project schedules, and ensuring adherence to product requirements and timelines. The role is hybrid, requiring in-person work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and is a long-term contract lasting six months.

Responsibilities

• Motivate the team to meet commitments to established timing.
• Build team technically and personally through mentoring and coaching.
• Resolve conflicts between team members, departments, and external stakeholders.
• Negotiate with internal and external groups and vendors.
• Identify root causes of problems, develop corrective actions, and lead the team to resolution.
• Act as the central communication point for the team to ensure awareness of deliverables and timing commitments.
• Provide team information needed to perform tasks.
• Communicate the impact of scope changes to stakeholders in terms of cost, timing, product, and quality of execution.
• Differentiate scope changes from engineering changes and manage the risk of scope changes.
• Create work breakdown structures with milestones and deliverables as the foundation for the program timeline.
• Create clear and concise issue lists with due dates and deliverables.

Requirements

• PMP certification desired.
• Three (3) years prior project/program management experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the product development process.
• Working knowledge of Program Management processes and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and influence others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong conflict management and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Benefits

• Hourly pay rate of $25.76 - $26.68 per hour.
