About the position

The Project Coordinator at Clayton Homes plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely completion of construction projects while delivering exceptional service to customers. As a vital member of the team, the Project Coordinator will report directly to the Home Center General Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all stages of construction in the field. This includes managing construction processes, obtaining necessary permits, conducting walk-throughs, and coordinating service calls. The position requires a proactive approach to customer service, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled with professionalism and care. In this role, the Project Coordinator will be tasked with completing all bill-backs with factories and processing contractor bills. They will also manage customer files and follow up with contractors and customers regarding service calls, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is collected. A key responsibility will be managing the Home Center's Net Promoter Score (NPS), which reflects customer satisfaction and service quality. The Project Coordinator will also be involved in scheduling set-ups and deliveries, coordinating the customer Welcome Home process, and merchandising the retail location, which includes tasks such as moving furniture and cleaning homes. The Project Coordinator will participate in sales meetings and company events, contributing to a positive team environment and assisting with miscellaneous duties as required. This role is ideal for someone who is cooperative, collaborative, and eager to work within a team to achieve common goals. The Project Coordinator will also be expected to perform other duties as assigned by the manager, showcasing their versatility and commitment to the team's success.

Responsibilities

  • Completes all bill-backs with factories and related paperwork
  • Processes contractor bills
  • Responsible for customer files
  • Assist in obtaining permits
  • Following up with contractors as well as customers for service calls and collecting all necessary paperwork
  • Managing the Home Center's Net Promoter Score (NPS - Customer Service)
  • Schedule set-up and delivery and other service-related items with contractors and customers
  • Follow-up with customers utilizing various contact methods, including home visits
  • Coordinating customer Welcome Home process
  • Merchandising the retail location and homes, including but not limited to moving furniture, décor and cleaning homes
  • Participate in sales meetings and other company events
  • Participate as needed during marketing promotions and events
  • Contribute to a positive team environment
  • Cooperative and collaborative, willing and eager to work in a team environment, assist with miscellaneous duties as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned or delegated by manager
