About the position

CraftCo, LLC is a woman-owned underground utility contractor specializing in infrastructure rehabilitation for municipalities in and around Middle Tennessee. The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing projects at various stages, including planning, implementation, marketing, and evaluation. This position is vital for ensuring that projects remain on track and that effective communication is maintained among all stakeholders involved. The starting pay range for this position is between $55,000 and $65,000 per year. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing the project's schedule, budget, and details to ensure everything is well-coordinated. You will communicate changes to the project plan to various departments, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned. Additionally, you will be tasked with organizing reporting and providing updates to project managers, which is essential for maintaining transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. Risk management is another critical aspect of this role, where you will analyze risks and opportunities, collaborating with the project manager to identify and eliminate roadblocks. You will oversee project procurement management, assign new project tasks to internal teams, and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion of all project components. Handling issues that arise during the project and managing budgets effectively will also be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will maintain project documentation and handle financial queries, contributing to the continuous improvement of project management processes by providing feedback, suggesting improvements, and sharing lessons learned. To excel in this role, strong time management and communication skills are essential, along with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, to assist with budgeting tasks.
