About the position

The Project Coordinator at Dowbuilt plays a crucial role in providing administrative and coordination support for high-end residential construction projects. This position involves collaboration with regional project teams and the accounting department to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with various agreements and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Enter subcontractor subcontract agreements (SA's) and revisions into Sage as directed.
  • Track and save copies of all executed documents in Sage and Sharefile.
  • Ensure sub and vendor insurance compliance by tracking, requesting, and reviewing insurance certificates.
  • Assist with collecting information for vendor/subcontractor setup, including W-9 collection for submission to Accounting.
  • Keep the buy-out log up to date as subcontractors are hired for various scopes of work.
  • Assist with tracking and distribution of RFI's and Submittals as requested by the Project Manager.
  • Participate in internal project reviews when requested.
  • Assist with project closeout, including preparation of O&M manuals and collection of subcontractor warranties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
  • At least one year of experience within the construction industry required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office 365.
  • General working knowledge of Sage 300 CRE (formerly Timberline) Project Manager Module - training to be provided.
  • Ability to maintain the highest ethical standards in all business relationships.
  • Knowledge of construction sequencing and best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with project teams.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with web-based solutions such as Smartsheet, ShareFile, Slack, and Asana is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand plans, drawings, and specifications is preferred.
