About the position

HealthEdge Software Inc is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist Project Managers in organizing ongoing projects. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures. This position involves organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, ensuring that project deadlines are met, and documenting important actions and decisions from meetings. The Project Coordinator will also prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings, determine project changes, and provide administrative support as needed. Additionally, the role requires undertaking project tasks as required, developing project strategies, and ensuring that projects adhere to established frameworks with all documentation maintained appropriately. The Project Coordinator will assess project risks and issues, providing solutions where applicable, and will manage stakeholder views towards the best solution. The role may also involve chairing and facilitating meetings, distributing minutes to all project team members, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Determine project changes.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.

  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years' experience in project management coordination preferred.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • MS Project experience preferred.
  • OpenAir experience preferred.
  • Smartsheet experience preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
