About the position

Our client, a well-known energy management company, is urgently looking to hire a Project Coordinator to join their team on-site in Smyrna, TN. This position is a 12+ month contract to hire on a W2 basis, offering a full benefits package. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and coordination of projects, primarily focusing on daily interactions with Schneider Electric's internal Project Managers. The role requires a strong emphasis on customer support and project management, making it essential for the candidate to possess relevant experience and skills. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing daily sales interactions, which include project monitoring, coordinating logistics to and from customers, and final order processing. Maintaining positive and strong customer relationships is a key aspect of this role, as the coordinator will need to resolve customer complaints and consult with various personnel to trace missing or delayed shipments. The ability to analyze and evaluate problems related to scheduling production orders and recommend solutions is also critical. In addition to handling customer complaints professionally, the Project Coordinator will provide technical expertise, analysis, and reporting for customer complaints on products. A strong customer focus is essential, as the candidate must demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain positive customer relationships throughout their tenure in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all daily communication on projects to Schneider Electric's internal Project Managers.
  • Manage daily sales interactions including project monitoring and managing internal VIP customers.
  • Coordinate logistics to and from the customer and handle final order processing.
  • Resolve customer complaints by consulting with production, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to trace missing or delayed shipments.
  • Analyze and evaluate problems related to scheduling production orders and recommend solutions.
  • Provide customer resolution for complex installations, restoring customer application and confidence in Schneider Electric products.
  • Handle and process customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Provide technical expertise, analysis, and reporting for customer complaints on products.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer focus and maintain positive customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in project management
  • Customer support experience
  • Experience with SAP and Excel
  • Experience with order processing
