The HCPF oversees Colorado's Medicaid Program, Health First Colorado, and other public health programs aimed at improving healthcare access and outcomes for Coloradans. The Project Management Office (PMO) within HIO is responsible for coordinating various projects that enhance operational excellence across the department. This includes managing initiatives related to the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS), the Program Eligibility Application Kit (PEAK), the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), and Health Information Technology (Health IT) initiatives. The Project Coordinator will work closely with other state agencies, including the Governor's Office and the Office of eHealth Innovation, to ensure a cohesive strategic approach to these initiatives. Collaboration with a range of internal and external stakeholders is crucial, as the Project Coordinator will often manage multiple projects simultaneously.
