About the position

As a Project Coordinator at CableCom, you will play a crucial role in coordinating all project-related operations to ensure successful project completion in accordance with customer and industry specifications. This position requires you to work directly under the Construction Supervisor, facilitating the coordination of CATV projects. Your responsibilities will include scheduling walkouts with property owners to evaluate job specifications, coordinating construction efforts to meet predetermined deadlines, and preparing comprehensive statements of work. You will also be responsible for building job packets that include essential documentation such as photos and maps, requisitioning materials necessary for construction operations, and preparing line item cost estimates. Additionally, you will handle any complaints from property owners regarding the work being done in their areas and maintain accurate "As-Built Maps" to submit to the Supervisor. The role may require you to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all project-related operations to ensure project completion in accordance with customer and industry specifications.
  • Work directly for the Construction Supervisor.
  • Schedule walkouts with property owners to evaluate job specifications.
  • Coordinate construction efforts with the Construction Supervisor for project completion by predetermined deadlines including site access.
  • Prepare a statement of work.
  • Build a job packet including photos, maps, and supporting documentation.
  • Requisition materials needed for the construction operations.
  • Prepare a line item cost estimate.
  • Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where personnel are assigned.
  • Complete and maintain accurate "As-Built Maps" for areas built to submit to the Supervisor.
  • Work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
  • Valid driver's license (Class "C").
  • 1-2 years of experience in delivering outside plant telecommunications services or utility industry project coordination.
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office experience including experience utilizing digital calendars.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum guidance but also must be a team player and collaborate on other projects as needed.
  • Solid decision making/problem solving skills.
