The Project Coordinator will assist the Project Manager on project tasks. This role is responsible for planning, implementation, integration, liaison, and control activities on assigned small projects. The primary objective of this position is to assist with the successful execution of planned budgets and schedules while meeting contractual obligations for multiple concurrent projects. The Project Coordinator will manage small projects, typically under $100K, which may include Engineering Only orders and Leases. This position requires the ability to successfully execute multiple concurrent projects while adhering to planned budgets and schedules. Additionally, the Project Coordinator will assist Project Managers or Senior Project Managers as needed during project execution, which includes expediting and creating project documentation. Hosting DP0 and DP1 tollgate meetings as needed and performing order entry activities are also part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Project Manage small projects (< $100K; Engineering Only orders, Leases, etc.)
  • Responsible for planning, implementation, integration, liaison, and control activities on assigned projects.
  • Successfully execute multiple concurrent projects while meeting planned budgets and schedules.
  • Assist Project Managers or Senior Project Managers as needed during project execution, including expediting and creating project documentation.
  • Host DP0 and DP1 tollgate meetings as needed.
  • Perform order entry activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Business or Technical field preferred
  • Entry level - 2 years of experience working in a project-based engineering or manufacturing environment
  • PMP Certification is a plus
  • Six Sigma Certification is a plus
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly
  • Able to exchange information both within the organization and between outside entities such as customers and suppliers
  • Basic knowledge of an ERP system is required
  • Prior experience using JD Edwards or IFS is a plus
