About the position

The Project Coordinator position at Convisorit in Atlanta, GA, is a contract role lasting over 8 months, with the possibility of extension. This hybrid position requires the individual to coordinate, schedule, and attend project-related meetings, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurately transcribed and disseminated. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for documenting, tracking, and receiving project documentation and deliverables, as well as sending follow-ups to ensure timely completion of project activities. The role involves sharing relevant information and updates with project team members, documenting and tracking project risks, issues, action items, and decisions as part of the overall project management activities. In addition to these responsibilities, the Project Coordinator will assist the Project Manager (PM) in developing necessary documents, presentations, or reports. They will follow up and track project statuses, updating the project tracking system with pertinent information. The individual will create project-related reports from the project work breakdown structure and work closely with PMs on documenting project scope and high-level requirements. Coordination of NextGen quality review and steering committee meetings is also a key responsibility, which includes capturing notes and action items and disseminating them appropriately. The Project Coordinator must ensure that all project-related artifacts are stored correctly within the NextGen Project SharePoint site and assist in tracking, monitoring, and communicating project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of the NextGen Project. Maintaining effective communication and working relationships with project team members is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates, schedules, and attends project related meetings.
  • Transcribes and disseminates project meeting minutes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND one year of IT related experience.
  • OR associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and three years of IT related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.

Nice-to-haves
