The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in the successful execution of projects at Creekstone Farms. This position involves assisting in the scheduling of project work with various vendors, developing comprehensive project scopes, managing project budgets, and tracking the progress of project work as it unfolds. The Project Coordinator will be instrumental in facilitating communication across the organization, working closely with all departments to assess needs, establish schedules, and prioritize both planned and future projects. Additionally, this role will focus on identifying opportunities to enhance workplace safety, improve operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce costs throughout the organization. In terms of essential functions, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and planning meetings, breaking down projects into actionable steps, and managing resources effectively. This includes coordinating activities, equipment, information, and resources to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. The role also involves managing project schedules, assigning tasks, and tracking work hours to maintain project timelines. Effective communication is a key aspect of this position, as the Project Coordinator will liaise with Creekstone team members to define project requirements and relay any changes in timelines or new information. Monitoring project progress, tracking changes, and adjusting schedules as necessary are also critical responsibilities. The Project Coordinator will report project progress to stakeholders and document minutes and notes during meetings, ensuring that all relevant information is captured and communicated. Administrative tasks will also fall under the purview of the Project Coordinator, including routing projects for approval, tracking quotes, managing RFIs, and organizing project files. Safety is paramount, and the Project Coordinator will be tasked with identifying and addressing unsafe practices observed during project execution and daily operations. Collaboration with Creekstone Reliability and Maintenance personnel, as well as onsite general contractors or vendors, will be essential to ensure that training, spare parts, and installations are communicated effectively and executed properly. Overall, the Project Coordinator must exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork, following the plant's continuous improvement processes and completing any other duties as assigned.
