About the position

The Project Coordinator at UMass Memorial Health is responsible for providing project coordination support to project and program leaders. This role involves developing work plans, monitoring project deliverables, and ensuring timely implementation of projects. The coordinator will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, manage project schedules, communicate project status, and maintain documentation throughout all project phases.

Responsibilities

  • Provides project coordination support to project/program leaders in developing work plans and monitoring project deliverables.
  • Researches information, analyzes data, and provides data tools or survey tools as needed.
  • Compiles information, arranges meetings/conferences, and produces correspondence and reports.
  • Collaborates with designated teams, department management, and stakeholders to communicate project purposes and processes.
  • Develops project schedules to identify milestones, interim deliverables, and accountabilities.
  • Communicates expectations and tracks project status, reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Schedules, attends, and participates in project meetings, distributing agendas and action items.
  • Serves on designated committees and councils as necessary.
  • Maintains project tracking and provides status updates.
  • Follows up with team participants to ensure deadlines are maintained and communicates information to the team and stakeholders.
  • Identifies project risks and takes appropriate action to mitigate them.
  • Prepares end-user tools, dashboards, presentations, summary reports, and ongoing project evaluations.
  • Maintains internal, external, and end-user documentation for all project phases.
  • Provides training for systems as necessary.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years of related experience required.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple assignments and projects.
  • Ability to support projects from conception to completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and methodology.
