About the position

The Project Coordinator at Ludvik Electric Co. plays a crucial role in supporting the Project Manager by ensuring adherence to contract documents, managing project schedules, and coordinating communication among stakeholders. This position is essential for maintaining project data and material resources to meet objectives related to scope, cost, time, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Prepares and maintains project files, submittals, shop drawings, layout drawings, and O&M manuals according to company policies and project requirements.
  • Prepares and negotiates Purchase Orders and Subcontracts.
  • Distributes and maintains current drawings, specifications, and product data.
  • Provides leadership and sets standards for team members, responding promptly to their needs.
  • Communicates with clients to resolve issues and provide technical input to meet their needs.
  • Maintains ownership of material procurement, submittals, and releases according to the project schedule.
  • Performs pricing of scope changes, including take-off, quotation requests, and estimates.
  • Assembles and inputs data for case studies and efficiency factors.
  • Builds P6 schedules and creates reports and curves.
  • Assembles backup information for project presentations and dispute resolution.
  • Completes Gross Margin Statements for review, including pulling reports and resource cost projections.
  • May be assigned Project Manager duties on small projects.

Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science or Bachelor of Science in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of electrical experience.
  • Preferably 4 years as Project Coordinator in electrical construction or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of construction accounting principles and job costing is preferred.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 is preferred.
