About the position

The Project Coordinator at J&B Fine Cabinetry is responsible for ensuring the seamless coordination of custom cabinetry projects. This role involves managing communication between various stakeholders, including designers, fabricators, installers, and clients, to ensure timely delivery and installation of cabinetry. The ideal candidate will be organized, service-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Regular discussion and interaction with cabinetry Designers to stay updated on contracted jobs and expected delivery dates.
• Manage the Delivery and Installation calendar for company-wide alignment.
• Communicate with Fabricators and Suppliers' shipping departments to predict accurate delivery dates/times.
• Be present to receive deliveries, check manifests for accuracy, and load cabinets into trucks for delivery to job sites.
• Visit job sites to ensure readiness for cabinet deliveries in advance of scheduled dates.
• Drive delivery truck to job sites and unload cabinets.
• Maintain and update the delivery and installation calendar meticulously for company-wide awareness.
• Manage the contact list of subcontracted Installers and schedule them for installations.
• Visit completed installation sites to ensure cleanup and presentation before client review.
• Travel within Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties as needed.
• Perform minor maintenance, punchout, and warranty work on cabinets if necessary.

Requirements

• Prior experience in cabinetry installations is highly desired.
• Ability to operate a forklift is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Competent basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Calendar, and SharePoint.
• Excellent written, organizational, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Must be local to the St. Pete/Tampa area.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
