About the position

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to join our team in Richland, Washington. This position is a contract role that involves managing and coordinating various projects from initiation through to completion. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure that all projects are executed efficiently, completed on time, and within budget constraints. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and satisfaction for all parties involved in the projects. In this role, the Project Coordinator will coordinate project activities, resources, and information effectively. They will create and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and documentation to track progress and report on project status to stakeholders. Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues will be a critical part of the job, as will facilitating project meetings and communicating updates to all relevant parties. The Project Coordinator will also manage project change requests, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and approved, and that project deliverables are met on time and within budget. This full-time position requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to drive project success. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and the ability to lead projects and initiatives, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and information
  • Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and other project documentation
  • Track project progress and report on project status to stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Facilitate project meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders
  • Manage project change requests and ensure changes are properly documented and approved
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project success

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university and 1 year of experience in a technical field
  • OR associate degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from an accredited college or university and 3 years' experience in a technical field
  • OR High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a technical field
  • Basic project management techniques
  • Basic core values as related to human performance, cost-effective work execution
  • Basic use of computer software tools
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, weighing alternative courses of action and making decisions based on factual information and rational assumptions
  • Demonstrated ability in planning and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess strong project management skills and abilities, including leading projects and initiatives
  • Ability to develop cost to benefit analysis in support of project options
  • Ability to apply applicable technical specifications, code requirements, and standards
