About the position

David Weekley Homes is seeking to add an enthusiastic Project Coordinator to our team in Phoenix. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, great communication skills, and the ability to successfully juggle multiple priorities. Experience in residential home building is highly preferred! The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our home building operations. This position requires a proactive approach to managing various tasks and responsibilities, ensuring that all aspects of the project are coordinated effectively. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team, demonstrating excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail. In this role, you will be responsible for processing contracts, managing and applying for various permits, coordinating meetings and team events, and maintaining accurate electronic files for each home. You will also prepare reports, pay invoices and utility bills, order supplies, and provide other support as needed. Strong follow-up and organization skills are essential, as you will need to deal effectively with numerous interruptions and drive results from vendors, subcontractors, and management. Your strong customer service skills will be vital in ensuring that all stakeholders are satisfied with the progress and outcomes of the projects you oversee.

Requirements

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; exposure to JD Edwards is beneficial
