About the position

This part-time, temporary position as a Project Administrative Assistant offers a unique opportunity to work in the Health Care field, specifically assisting with the interview process for new Residency candidates. These candidates are medical students who have graduated from medical school and are coming to the hospital for on-the-job training and additional education. The role requires a friendly and outgoing personality, as the assistant will be the first point of contact for hundreds of applicants. The ability to greet candidates with a smile and exhibit patience is essential, as the position involves managing a high volume of applicants in a fast-paced environment. The Project Administrative Assistant will be responsible for screening resumes, providing general office assistance, and ensuring that the interview process runs smoothly. This includes tasks such as copying, filing, and working with Microsoft Word and Excel. The assistant will also be involved in assembling interview packets and handling phone calls and emails. The work schedule is structured to provide a total of 24 hours per week, with shifts on Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., along with two half-days on either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, allowing for flexibility in scheduling. Responsibilities
