About the position

The Project Coordinator will oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, execution, and delivery. This role is crucial for ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while fostering collaboration across departments and improving communication. The coordinator will also provide training to staff and assist senior leaders with vendor management.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle: planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery.
  • Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management.
  • Streamline processes across departments to maximize efficiency.
  • Foster collaboration between programs and improve communication.
  • Stay updated on project management tools and strategies to enhance agency performance.
  • Coordinates the work activities for multiple functions to ensure satisfying delivery.
  • May assist the AVP of Programs and Operations or other senior leaders with the selection, negotiation, and managing of all activities regarding external consultants or vendors.
  • Provide training to employees throughout various departments/programs in the agency to improve process knowledge and skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Some college coursework completed and four years of experience or bachelor's degree and two years of experience.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Project Management or Business Administration.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and project management.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate experience in utilizing project management computer software.
  • Strategic thinker with sound judgment and adaptability.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong work ethic.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of Entrepreneurial Operating Systems (EOS)
