About the position

Golden Platter Foods is seeking a driven and eager-to-learn Project Coordinator with a strong focus on sales. This role involves close collaboration with the VP of Sales and requires a proactive approach to project management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while supporting sales initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales to support sales initiatives, track project progress, and ensure alignment with sales goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams in product development, quality assurance, and operations to ensure projects are aligned across all departments and meet company standards.
  • Utilize Smart Sheets to manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Be highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft programs to support various aspects of project management and reporting.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with project teams, ensuring all members are aligned and informed of project statuses.
  • Proactively identify potential project risks and work with the team to develop solutions.
  • Show a strong willingness to learn and grow within the role, taking on new challenges and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in project management or a related field, preferably in a sales or food industry environment.
  • Proficiency in Smart Sheets is required.
  • Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft programs are essential.
  • A strong understanding of sales processes and an ability to support sales-driven projects.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, quality assurance, and operations.
  • Aggressive in driving tasks to completion, eager to learn, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
