About the position

The Project Coordinator at Pacific Tech Construction, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the startup and closeout phases of various construction projects, including federal, state, county, municipal, and private projects. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and track new contracts and awards through the startup phase.
  • Develop and complete submittal logs.
  • Coordinate Bond and Certificate of Insurance procurement and submittal.
  • Prepare and submit administrative submittal documents including Site Specific Safety & Health Plans, Construction Quality Control Plans, Environmental Protection Plans, and Project Management Plans.
  • Manage project closeout procedures, including the procurement of warranties, as-builts, and other requirements.
  • Prepare, transmit, and follow-up on subcontracts and subcontractor information packets.
  • Coordinate regularly with Project Managers, Superintendents, and office staff.
  • Ensure that company procedures and standards are maintained.
  • Assist in the development of company procedures, standards, forms, and templates.
  • Manage a small team of support staff.

Requirements

  • Experience creating construction submittals for federal clients (preferably DoD).
  • Experience managing subcontracting processes.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience and proficiency with the MS Office Suite and PDF editing software (Acrobat, Nuance, etc.).

Benefits

  • Salary range of $60k-$85k based on experience and qualifications.
