About the position

The Project Coordinator at Experitec plays a crucial role in managing and executing solution-based projects within the process automation industry. This position involves collaboration across various departments, including Sales, Services, and Finance, to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while interfacing with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop positive working relationships with customers and their staff to understand project requirements.
  • Partner with the Project Manager and Engineering Leads to execute successful projects.
  • Collaborate with sales, warehouse personnel, finance, and factories to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Review customer purchase orders and work with a Project Manager to develop schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor and control project lifecycles within the business system.
  • Prepare billing to customers and adjust schedules to meet expectations.
  • Issue purchase orders to vendors and subcontractors, and track incoming shipments.
  • Document and communicate project status to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate all required documentation submittals and general order management communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or associate degree with two or more years of relevant work experience, or high school diploma with four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of planning and coordination work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and Outlook email.
  • Working experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate status updates in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to take and give direction clearly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Three or more years of planning and coordination work experience.
  • Working experience with PowerBI.
  • Experience in process automation or industrial maintenance industry.
  • Prior experience supporting a Project Manager.
