About the position

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Program Manager to develop comprehensive action plans for various projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This role involves coordinating project activities, managing schedules, and maintaining project documentation while collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver results.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
  • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Assist with schedule management
  • Ensure that clients' needs are met as projects evolve
  • Analyze risks and opportunities
  • Oversee project procurement management
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Work with the Project Manager to eliminate obstacles
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Handle special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years' experience in project coordination or management
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics and customer specifications
