About the position

The Project Cost Controller at Tenova Inc. is responsible for managing the financial aspects of all projects and Technical Services. This role involves acting as a Project Business Partner, supporting the Project Team by suggesting corrective actions and providing reliable reporting. The position requires coordination with various departments to ensure budget adherence and effective project control, while also leading project meetings and ensuring compliance with ISO standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Internal Order Release process from the Control point of view.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager and Budgeting Department to ensure adequate budget split and control model structure.
  • Review and close out projects annually.
  • Report standards productivities and costs from previous projects for benchmarking.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and control Major Contracts from Order Set-Up to Final P/L review.
  • Control project schedules and report deviations from the plan.
  • Monitor proper allocation of costs in the project network and ensure compliance with cost accrual processes.
  • Analyze control indicators to understand their interactions and impacts.
  • Lead Project Monthly meetings with senior management participation.
  • Update project forecasts monthly.
  • Manage billing summaries and coordinate with Accounts Receivables for timely invoicing.
  • Coordinate issuance of all project reports and manage quarterly reporting requirements.
  • Assist with the annual financial audit.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO Standards and Procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • Fresh graduate or 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Spreadsheet and Presentation tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ability to prepare detailed reports and utilize effective report drafting techniques.
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive, committed, and solution/result driven.
