About the position

As a Product Design and Development Coordinator at Baron Weather Inc., you will play a crucial role in our software development department. This full-time position is designed for individuals who are eager to contribute to project management tasks, software testing, and product design. Your responsibilities will include monitoring project tickets, organizing documentation, and actively participating in product design discussions. We are looking for a candidate who possesses a keen eye for detail and a genuine appreciation for product design. The ideal candidate will be curious, enthusiastic about learning, and committed to growing their skills within our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring project tickets using Jira and other tracking tools. You will contribute to discussions surrounding product design, providing valuable input on user experience and design improvements. Conducting software testing to identify and report bugs or issues will also be a key part of your responsibilities. You will organize and maintain project documentation to ensure easy access and reference for all team members. Additionally, you will coordinate between teams to facilitate effective communication and information flow, assist in scheduling and facilitating project meetings, and track reported bugs while working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. Your role will also involve assisting in managing project timelines and ensuring that milestones are met, as well as tracking and managing resource allocation for various projects. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, possesses strong organizational and communication skills, and is capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Requirements

  • Basic understanding of project management principles

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with software testing processes and methodologies is preferred
  • Experience with Jira or other project management tools is preferred

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in project management or software development is preferred but not required
  • Background in UI/UX design or user research is a plus
