Position Summary The Project Development Coordinator will support the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific Solar related projects. This role will assist our Project Developers in Battery Energy Storage. The successful candidate will assist with various project tasks, ensuring effective communication and organization throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Support project activities and ensure all phases are documented appropriately.
  • Help maintain and update project schedules and timelines.
  • Assist with the onboarding and training of Land Agents.
  • Prepare and distribute project documentation, including project briefs and meeting notes.
  • Ensure all project documentation is organized and accessible to team members and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a point of contact for project-related inquiries from external contacts and external Land Agents.
  • Assist in facilitating communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Schedule and coordinate project meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Assist with ordering and tracking project-related materials.
  • Organize and mail field-related materials to project developers for distribution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Environmental Studies or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Solar Energy Industry
  • Internship or coursework related to project management/coordination, Environmental Studies, etc.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
