About the position

The Project Engineer at ASRC Energy Services is responsible for managing engineering contractors and ensuring that project engineering deliverables meet specified requirements. This role involves coordinating multidisciplinary engineering resources and client resources to achieve project objectives related to design functionality, operability, maintainability, constructability, quality, cost, and schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the engineering contractor and accept project engineering deliverables.
  • Coordinate multidiscipline engineering resources and client resources to meet project objectives.
  • Conduct Incident-Free Culture (IFC) workshops as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with COPA document and records management policy.
  • Utilize CPMS AK standards and practices on all projects appropriate to project size and risk.
  • Package engineer material and equipment orders to ensure supplier compliance with specifications.
  • Monitor and track engineering contractor performance against cost and schedule.
  • Maintain organized documentation of communications between contracted groups and project management team.
  • Validate contractor deliverables according to contract terms and conditions.
  • Support timely engineering query resolution during fabrication and construction phases.
  • Develop the Engineering Plan for the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Monitor project execution against the plan and communicate deviations.
  • Monitor technical and execution risks to project objectives and communicate risks.
  • Coordinate engineering support for material and services procurement.
  • Ensure CPMSAK Design Review and Acceptance Practice (DRAP) are conducted.
  • Assure process hazard review and safety in design standards are documented.
  • Comply with company and customer policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree.
  • More than 5 years of experience as an engineer in oil and gas facilities.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of experience as a light-duty or heavy-duty mechanic.
