About the position

The Project Engineer will provide leadership and direction for the successful execution of capital projects at the Indianapolis Bakery. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business strategies, and adhering to company policies to deliver high-value asset allocation. The Project Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and work onsite at the bakery plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to deliver capital investment projects that align with business strategies.
• Communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders including Operations, Finance, EHS, and RQI.
• Interact with equipment vendors, construction contractors, engineering services contractors, and government agencies.
• Utilize structured engineering workflow processes to execute, integrate, and align assigned projects.
• Ensure all project planning, deliverables, reporting, and spending forecasts are managed accurately.
• Independently manage projects from development to completion, interfacing with stakeholders to deliver business results.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of Project Management experience leading projects from beginning to end.
• Experience in Project Management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in Food Processing or Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
