The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and have 3-8 years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for designing site layouts, performing grading and drainage design, and managing the permitting process for both commercial and residential site development projects. Additionally, your expertise in road design, utility design, and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects. As a licensed Project Engineer in Ohio, or someone who can obtain licensure within the next 6-12 months, you will play a crucial role in leading project initiatives and fostering collaboration within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a Project Manager and other staff to drive the design on a variety of Civil/Site Development projects.
  • Design site layouts and perform grading and drainage design.
  • Manage the permitting process for commercial and residential site development projects.
  • Conduct road design, utility design, and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • 3-8 years of experience in civil engineering.
  • Previous experience designing site layouts, performing grading and drainage design, and permitting of commercial & residential site development projects.
  • Experience in road design, utility design, and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis.
  • Licensed Project Engineer in the state of Ohio or ability to become licensed in the next 6-12 months.
  • Ability to work well independently or on teams.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization.
