At Haley & Aldrich, we are seeking a Project Civil Engineer to join our team in Cleveland, OH. This role is pivotal in supporting a variety of challenging multi-disciplinary engineering assessment and civil engineering design projects. The successful candidate will engage in site-civil and geo-environmental assessments related to development, heavy industry, and solid waste management associated with Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR). This position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing business unit within a privately held company that has over 60 years of experience in delivering smart, integrated solutions for our clients. The Project Civil Engineer will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary project teams, leadership, and various company offices and client/project locations. The role involves supporting technical leads on all aspects of the project to meet client goals and objectives, from scoping through to final deliverables. The engineer will be responsible for developing technical aspects of CCR and site-civil design projects, which include site grading, stormwater analysis, technical drawing and specifications, engineering/site-civil calculations, project cost estimating, and the development of work scopes and report deliverables. The successful candidate will execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements while demonstrating a willingness to be coached and mentored in engineering skills and technical knowledge. In addition, the Project Civil Engineer will support project teams in their interactions with client representatives and contractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
