At American Structurepoint, we are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our Civil Group in Cleveland, OH. As a Project Engineer, you will collaborate closely with a Project Manager and other team members to drive the design of various Civil/Site Development projects. In this role, you will be expected to think quickly on your feet and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills. You will be involved in designing site layouts, performing grading and drainage design, and managing the permitting process for both commercial and residential site development projects. Additionally, you will engage in road design, utility design, and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your contributions will directly influence the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients, as we strive to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Manager and team members on Civil/Site Development projects.
  • Drive the design of various projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform grading and drainage design for commercial and residential developments.
  • Manage the permitting process for site development projects.
  • Engage in road design and utility design tasks.
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analysis as required.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in Civil/Site Engineering.
  • Licensed PE in the state of OH, or ability to become licensed within 6-12 months.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills at all organizational levels.
