Audubon, an EPC company based in Houston, is seeking a Project Engineer specializing in Civil, Structural, and Architectural disciplines. This role is critical in ensuring that the contractor's performance aligns with the project's technical requirements. The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the accuracy and timeliness of design document reviews while maintaining the technical integrity of the engineering and design processes for the LNG facility. The ideal candidate will be a mid-career professional with substantial experience in compliance assurance related to earthworks, foundations, and structures for equipment and systems within LNG facilities. A strong drive and commitment to excellence are essential for success in this position. In this role, the Project Engineer will ensure that the EPC contractor delivers process engineering work and deliverables that meet established standards, specifications, FEED design, and contractual obligations. Collaboration with the engineering team is vital to guarantee that the overall design is safe, fit for purpose, and reliable. The Project Engineer will also participate in technical assessments such as HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA, and will assist in reviewing process documents, guidelines, and project specifications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly for FERC's LNG project permit approval. The Project Engineer will play a key role in executing the project in accordance with the organization's safety regulations, ensuring quality conformance, and adhering to the project schedule. Effective communication with other engineering, operational, and functional team members is crucial, as is the ability to call for support from other engineering disciplines when multi-discipline technical issues arise. The Project Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the technical integrity of the engineering and design within their discipline, answering technical queries and RFIs from contractors, and participating in key design reviews to ensure readiness and compliance with baseline scope changes.
