About the position

The position involves working full-time onsite with the Jacobs design-build team, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery and successful startup of equipment. The role emphasizes the importance of maintaining up-to-date technical documentation and collaborating effectively to resolve issues. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with both design and construction teams, enhancing efficiency in issue resolution and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Work with vendors, subcontractors, and Engineering to achieve timely submittal approval
• Coordinate RFIs to resolution with the assistance of the Engineering team
• Expedite equipment to ensure on-time delivery
• Manage the receipt, storage, handling, installation, and commissioning of process equipment
• Ensure material/equipment is provided and installed in compliance with contract plans and specifications
• Coordinate and maintain schedule associated with responsible scope
• Manage and maintain as-built drawings and documentation
• Assist with monthly cost projections for subcontractors and vendors under their responsibility
• Manage the closeout process for subcontractors and vendors under your responsibility
• Support project plan implementation for quality, change management, and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in an applicable field
• Minimum of 5 years of specific construction project experience
• Experience in the delivery of municipal water, wastewater, water resources, and/or conveyance type work
• Working knowledge of construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building, and client relationship building.
