We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team, specializing in Development and Flight Test Support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing manufacturing and engineering projects related to the development and testing of aerospace systems. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The Project Engineer will own and actively support all deliverables related to test support, including Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), Go/No-Go reviews, and ad-hoc reviews requested by the test team. Additionally, the engineer will provide support for development and qualification engine shipments, configuration planning, hardware reuse, disassembly and inspection planning, and feedback to the engineering team. The role also involves preparing component summaries, conducting pre-ship reviews, and providing flight engine shipment support. The Project Engineer will work closely with Mechanical Engineers (MEs), Reliability Engineers (REs), and Quality Engineers (QEs) to ensure that need dates are carefully planned, tracked by the program, and met with the required deliverables. Furthermore, the engineer will assist REs in preparing content for all gated reviews related to engine shipment, development and qualification configuration planning, pump teardowns and inspections, and post-test data reviews. The successful candidate will become the single-threaded leader in the BE-4 turbo for the above deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing and engineering projects related to aerospace systems development and testing.
• Own and actively support all deliverables related to test support, including Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and Go/No-Go reviews.
• Conduct ad-hoc reviews requested by the test team.
• Provide development and qualification engine shipment support.
• Engage in configuration planning and hardware reuse activities.
• Plan disassembly and inspection processes and provide feedback to the engineering team.
• Prepare component summaries and conduct pre-ship reviews.
• Support flight engine shipments and provide post-ship non-conformance feedback (ULA only).
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers (MEs), Reliability Engineers (REs), and Quality Engineers (QEs) to ensure need dates are planned and met.
• Assist REs in preparing content for gated reviews related to engine shipment and post-test data reviews.

Requirements

• Strong technical background in aerospace engineering or related field.
• Excellent project management skills with experience in managing engineering projects.
