About the position

The Project Engineer at Bilotta Kitchen & Home is essential for the successful design and execution of high-end residential kitchen projects. This role involves drafting designs, producing shop drawings, and ensuring that the vision of each designer is accurately represented and executed. The Project Engineer will work closely with designers and installers, utilizing expert knowledge of the manufacturers represented by the company.

Responsibilities

• Draft designs using AutoCAD and other computer-aided design software.
• Produce shop drawings and special quotes for custom millwork.
• Lay out details for appliances, including necessary dimension clearances and section details.
• Provide accurate cabinet pricing using manufacturing pricing programs.
• Complete final order writing and processing through the acknowledgment phase for job production.
• Conduct field measuring and observe site conditions, including delivery access, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Order parts and samples.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-10 years experience of drafting using AutoCAD.
• Experience with construction/building.
• Experience in kitchen and bath design and/or custom cabinetry/millwork.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of 3D rendering programs such as Auto Kitchen or Sketchup.
