About the position

The Project Engineer (Electrical) at ABB plays a crucial role in the Electrification Distribution Solutions division, focusing on the design and execution of electrical engineering projects. This position involves acting as a design authority for projects of low to medium complexity, ensuring cost-effective solutions while applying design thinking principles. The role emphasizes collaboration, coaching, and customer support, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of power distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Creation of Class I, II and III drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Selection of adequate electrical equipment.
• Assist customers on questions/comments regarding their product.
• Coaches new engineers to learn the products faster.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or related) required.
• 2 or more years of related experience required.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
