About the position

The Project Manager at Stanford University's Residential & Dining Enterprises (RDE) is responsible for overseeing projects from conception to implementation, focusing on contained risk assignments. This role involves a blend of project leadership and technical contributions, ensuring effective project management practices are applied throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full range of project management cycle: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
• Lead projects requiring functional integration and complete sub-projects or stand-alone elements.
• Direct development of an action plan and estimate resource requirements, including management, labor, materials, and time.
• Facilitate discussions and negotiations to drive consensus within the scope of responsibility.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy and communication plan relative to project scope and stakeholders.
• Manage and report on risks associated with projects to upper management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Three years of related experience in management of projects of moderate size/complexity with limited performance risk.
• Polished written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences.
• Ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated project management ability including integration, scope, time management, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement components.
