About the position

The Project Engineer - Field Operations at SageGlass, a subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, is responsible for providing technical expertise to assist the Sales Team in project procurement. This role involves validating system specifications, reviewing architectural and electrical drawings, and discussing project needs with clients. The position requires up to 30% travel and offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Team in the procurement of projects by providing technical expertise.
• Validate system specifications against design constraints such as electrical power and glass size.
• Review architectural and electrical drawings and work with control system configuration/network diagrams.
• Discuss project needs face to face and over the telephone to explain installation or troubleshooting processes.

Requirements

• Associates degree in a technical field preferred, ideally in Electrical.
• At least two years of experience in technical customer service, construction management, or a related field.
• Ability to review architectural and electrical drawings and work with control system configuration/network diagrams.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems for customers and provide accurate and efficient support and solutions.
• Manufacturing system data entry experience.
• Proficiency with PDF and CAD software as well as MS Office.
