The Hardware Project Engineer position at Snap-on Business Solutions is a critical role focused on developing and supporting hardware products specifically designed for heavy-duty repair technicians. In this role, the engineer will be tasked with developing circuit board designs and firmware for various hardware products, ensuring that these products remain compliant with necessary certifications such as Safety, EMI/EMC, and wireless standards. The engineer will also support production activities by working closely with contract manufacturers, developing and maintaining software utilities and fixtures that are essential for the manufacturing process. The ability to work independently during various phases of hardware and firmware development is crucial, as is the management of Snap-on's Intellectual Property in accordance with corporate guidelines. Additionally, the engineer will be expected to perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization.
