As a Project Engineer for Kiewit, you will play a crucial role in supporting construction activities by planning, organizing, and implementing various management duties. You will provide project administration and support to a Senior Project Engineer on larger projects, while also managing technical and administrative staff to facilitate instruction management services. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks that are essential for the successful execution of heavy civil construction projects. Kiewit's Eastern District specializes in challenging heavy civil construction projects throughout the Northeast, including metropolitan areas such as New York, Chicago, Boston, and Washington DC. The district is recognized for its leadership in bridge, transit, foundation, tunnel, and water/wastewater construction, with a focus on cast-in-place concrete, structural steel erection, earthwork, pile driving, and caissons. With a wealth of experience and dedicated employees, Kiewit's Eastern District is well-equipped to handle projects of any size, particularly in the energy and power sector across various northeast locations. In this position, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of contract plans and specifications for your assigned work.
