About the position

As a Ceco Project Engineer I, you will engage in a dynamic role that presents new challenges daily. You will collaborate with the Field Operations team and in-house Engineers to solve complex problems, contributing to the company's tradition of excellence and innovation in the construction industry since 1912. This position is critical in delivering value to clients and developing your career through hands-on experience in project management and engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the preparation of formwork/framework layout drawings in Autodesk Revit.
  • Analyzes and designs formwork.
  • Supports the project team in establishing the sequential steps involved in all processes with the scope of the project, adapting schedules and work tasks accordingly.
  • Works closely with the project team to monitor the safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects.
  • Optimizes formwork designs and collaborates with the material coordinator to ensure efficient utilization of Ceco's physical resources.
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance the company's ability to procure projects.
  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Construction, or Architectural Engineering.
  • No experience necessary, but construction experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to read and understand drawings.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
