About the position

The Project Engineer I plays a crucial role in supporting the Project Manager and project team members in the execution of construction activities for assigned projects. This position ensures that all work performed aligns with project objectives and construction document requirements, contributing to innovative solutions in the life sciences and food and beverage industries.

Responsibilities

• Support the construction of assigned project(s) and ensure work performed is in conformance with project objectives and construction documents.
• Provide bidding support and manage document control.
• Execute the submittal and RFI review process.
• Verify as-builts and support quality control and site safety.
• Execute the equipment receiving process.
• Manage closeout documentation.
• Support cost management activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Science, or Engineering.
• Up to four years of experience.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office suite experience.
• Capable of learning new computer programs for project management and reporting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with mobile devices and VDC apps.
