About the position

The Project Engineer I role at Chart Industries focuses on the design and fabrication of cryogenic equipment, ensuring sound design and manufacturability while upholding quality practices. The position involves collaborating with various teams throughout the job process, developing solutions to complex problems, and maintaining design calculations in line with engineering principles and customer requirements. The role is integral to delivering full solutions across clean power, water, food, and industrial applications, contributing to sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems that require independent judgement and ingenuity.
• Develop and maintain design calculation spreadsheets and templates in conformance with engineering principles, customer requirements, quality standards, and governing body specifications.
• Work with sales engineering and project management to define scope and review specifications to publish work instructions for successful project completion.
• Collaborate with design to create and issue BOM development and other ERP tasks.
• Support manufacturing and develop engineered solutions to maintain on-time delivery with conformance to customer requirements and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as required for job completion and process development.

Requirements

• Four (4) year Bachelor degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited program.
• Preferred baseline experience in an ETO (engineering to order) manufacturing environment.
