About the position

The Project Engineer I role at Chart Industries involves collaborating with various teams to ensure effective design and manufacturability of cryogenic process technologies and equipment. The position focuses on problem-solving from conceptual design through to installation and commissioning, contributing to diverse applications that promote clean energy and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems that require independent judgement and ingenuity.
• Develop and maintain design calculation spreadsheets and templates in conformance with engineering principles, customer requirements, quality standards, and governing body specifications.
• Work with sales engineering and project management to define scope and review specifications to publish work instructions for successful project completion.
• Collaborate with design to create and issue BOM development and other ERP tasks.
• Support manufacturing and develop engineered solutions to maintain on-time delivery with conformance to customer requirements and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as required for job completion and process development.

Requirements

• Four (4) year Bachelor degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited program.
• Preferred baseline experience in an ETO (engineering to order) manufacturing environment.
