About the position
The Project Engineer II at BrightView plays a crucial role in supporting the project management team on large-scale commercial landscape construction projects. This position focuses on ensuring that all construction services are delivered according to contract specifications, on budget, and on schedule, while maintaining high-quality standards. The role involves collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
Responsibilities
- Work with the construction team to ensure all construction services are delivered according to contract specifications, on budget, and on schedule.
- Review take-offs with the estimating team.
- Manage document control including submittals, change orders, field production tracking, purchasing documentation, and contract administration.
- Prepare reports and information as requested.
- Coordinate between branch administrative office team, field employees, sales team, estimating team, and branch management on a regular basis.
- Work closely with clients, vendors, sub-contractors, and employees to ensure exceptional customer service and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Construction Management is a plus but not a requirement.
- Proficient with computer software programs including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CMiC.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
